- ★★★★★almost 5 years agoThis is one of my favorite lakes in all of Connecticut. Obviously it is prime in the summer but living in the lake community, I've found beauty when it is frozen over. It offers ice skating, ice fishing, snow shoeing, snow skiing, and I've even done snow yoga on the frozen ice. It opens up views of the sky for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Anytime of year is special here on the lake.
- ★★★★★over 7 years agoI may be a little bias since I live in one of the lake community. Coventry lake is fully recreational. Check out Patriots park state beach. There are pavilions, a band shell, playgrounds and more. The 4th of July celebration is on June 30th this year with live bands, food and fireworks over the lake.
- ★★★★★over 1 year agoIt's a wonderful lake that the Willimantic river race ends at.
