Beautiful lake, peaceful setting. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing, jumping off the dock. The sunrises were incredible!

It was a very nice lake and well taken care of. It also was a very popular lake to go to to beat the heat because there were a lot of people there. There is a boat dock on both the North and South ends of the lake. You can rent boats or paddle boards there if you want. We were staying down the road at a cabin at Eagle Cap Chalets for a family reunion on the south side of the lake. The south beach is a little rocky, so bring some water shoes. It is a great spot in the mountains and away from everything. There were some stores if we needed something close by in the town of Joseph. There was a tram close by also on the south side of the lake that you can ride on to go to the top of the mountain, but that is super expensive.

Been here in June 2020, in my birthday! The whole Joseph area is super beautiful, absolutely worth to visit and definitely couple times! Plan few days out here to visit Hells Canyon, and do some amazing hikes in Wallowas.. The Wallowa lake itself is great! So sad I don't have boat yet, but I would love to boat or kayak there, fantastic peaceful place! All the pictures attached are captured by me. Hope you enjoy them!
