Totally worth the zip line around the reservoir. It's a must see on the island with great guides.

We stopped here as part of Kaui ATV tour and did about 30 minutes of fishing from bamboo poles with hot dog pieces off a small dock. Our tour guide caught a fish and said that usually they catch fish here daily. It was a restful, scenic stopping point.

This is private property. You can not get to the reservoir unless you trespass; which we were not on with. Don’t know why they recommend going here in the Kauai birding book.
