- ★★★★★about 2 years agoBeautiful lake. We were in the area to see fall colors and this place didn't disappoint us. The parking lot was very full but you can still find a space. There is a trail that starts on either side of this parking lot and loops around the lake. The trail is easy 2.3 miles loop all around the lake. You can do it easily in an hour, stopping for taking pictures. We saw a lot of people on the trail with little kids. There is another parking lot nearby if you don't find space there and also parking by the picnic area and camp ground. There is also boat rental and an amphitheatre near the rental place. The colors all around were gorgeous.
