- ★★★★★over 2 years agoMy pup and I walked this when there was still snow on the ground. I was very impressed by how clean and plowed they keep the walkway. I couldn't find the parking area on Google maps and directions. I didn't realize that one lot is on Route 202 and if you reached Canton, CT Town line, you've missed the parking area and had to turn around. Definitely check out this family and pet friendly walking area. You won't be disappointed.
- ★★★★★about 1 year agoExcellent place for leisure biking all year round, even during winter as it is plowed asap. Just remember to wear a helmet. The only drawback is that there are many dog owners, and there are plenty of them, who do not pick up their 🐕 poop at all, or leave the plastic bags with the poop on the site of the road, or let the 🐕 run without the leash disregarding many posted signs requiring to do that. Such behavior is very disappointing.
- ★★★★★over 3 years ago4.3.22 This is one of those go-to quick, easy walks on a paved 1 mile out and 1 mile back path around the reservoir and dam. It's a show stopper, grab the camera spots. The paved path is used for walking, running, kids bring bikes etc. People come with families, strollers, dogs etc. It's a wide path so perfect for everyone to share "the road". Note. On picture perfect weekends the parking area may fill up.
- ★★★★★about 5 years agoGreat place for a quick walk outdoors. It is on concrete & level, so no going through any woods. You can always go off the path in several spots too if you want. Families with children will very much enjoy this. Can also bring their bicycles for the walk.
- ★★★★★about 2 years agoBeautiful fall morning for a walk at Nepaug Reservoir. A one-mile road trail that crosses over the dam. Typically busy, good for families and those with accessibility concerns.
