Reviews
- ★★★★★over 4 years agoSpent the first three years of my life here. Mom and Dad owned a house and 4 cabins on the North Shore. And many a weekend trip fishing and boating growing up. Lots of Bullheads caught here and in Barringer Slough which feeds into Lost Island. Swam from the beach many times as well. One day watched a tornado come up from the South, around Ruthven, and turn into a waterspout over the lake. Lots of Great Memories. Great place to visit..
- ★★★★★over 6 years agoGreat mid-sized lake, surrounded by beautiful lake houses and cabins. Nature center on the east side of lake is well maintained and fun for an evening. Water is deep enough for all boating activities ranging from inter-tubing, skiing, and jet skiing. Really improved in recent years with carp traps increasing quality of fishing.
- ★★★★★about 3 years agoWe come up to visit my dad and we always enjoy staying here. Super friendly people and a great lake.
- ★★★★★over 5 years agoDecent fishing access from the south side of the lake, 1 open spot on the north for a couple people. South side also has a small picnic area and grill if you want to use it.
- ★★★★★about 5 years agoIt's a fun recreational lake more than anything. Lots of boaters on a nice day.
