Beautiful alpine lake. 18 km back pack in with approx 1000 meter elevation gain. Trails get narrow near the top. Lots of places to camp on the way up. As an older person, I found a 4 day hike was very comfortable (2 day in, 2 day out). This year we took a helicopter in and walked out. Bring extra clothes! Was caught in a day long snow storm at the lake in JULY 2019.

Difficult hike, but a beautiful place with good fishing.

Beautiful Lake if you can make the trek out here. Last went in 2014 and the path was beaten badly by the flood. We bushwhacked our way to the lake, still a blast. Enjoy the trip, eat some fish, and be sure to give yourselves at least one night to camp at the lake!
