- ★★★★★over 2 years ago32.5mi loop from the visitor center if you do the whole trail. We only went to the overlook and back, which was perfect for the day trip on the Sea Hunter III. We also finished it with the 1.2mi nature trail loop since that trail forks off this one anyway. The park rangers did say you can see moose, foxes, or a wolf along here. All we saw were some moose tracks and droppings, so they are around. The first part is flat and kind of muddy along the waterfront, and then it goes up to the lookout. Awesome views from up there of the whole island. Bring binoculars, and you might be able to see moose at the lake off in the distance.
