- ★★★★★over 4 years agoMy husband and I take our boys (ages 5, 9, 10 & 15) here to fish and go for walks. We all love coming here especially the kids. One piece of advice though, if you've never been here before I would strongly advise not attempting to navigate some of these roads in a small car or vehicle that couldn't handle a tiny off roading adventure. My husband and I have rather large pickup trucks and have never had an issue.
- ★★★★★almost 5 years agoAbsolutely beautiful and peaceful. I very much enjoyed our short, but gorgeous walk and exploration here (Lot 1). But, be warned, it's a gilded cage... there are many rules to follow... all you can do here is just sit and watch nature, and maybe picnic. This may be fine for most people, but my family really enjoys boating, swimming, and being with our dog, so I felt very constrained when we visited. And the rules are very important - the reservoir is drinking water for many people. If you do go here for a nice walk or some casual fishing, just know the limitations before you go. There are always cops around, and a fine starts at $500, so observation of the rules is a must. This place would get 5 stars, but 3 because of suitable restrictions.
