I absolutely love it here and so do the dogs. If you do come here with your pup, be sure to bring orange anything for them to wear and for yourself. (I had an orange vest, Leia had an orange collar). They do hunt here unfortunately but this morning it was so peaceful. The trails are marked perfectly on the trees as well as on All-trails so you can't get lost even if you tried. The pond is crystal clear and sandy so if you decide to swim it's worth it but I left all the swimming to the girls who gracefully made their way into the pond. Every person I ran into today had a dog and they were super friendly. Stop by and recharge your mind, it's worth the hike.

Great place to go hiking do recommend good hiking shoes that are waterproof as some of the trails do tend to get pretty muddy certain times of the year.

It was a little tricky to find where to park for this trail. It ended up being best to park at Hopkins Field Parking, but you will definitely want the all trails app to find out how to get to the pond trail from there since the trails are not well marked. The actual pond trail was easy and well maintained. Excellent for children and dogs.

Great place to go for a hike. Where to park on the east side is unknown to me. “(I’m from Florida)”. I park off of Hopkins Hill Rd. At a trail head where there is ample room.

It's a great little hike. We go often, and always bring our dog with us.
