Reviews
- ★★★★★over 2 years agoHad a great time at branch lake today. Small, sandy beach. Water is clear all the way to the bottom. Lots of kids jumping off large rocks. Had no trouble finding parking in the lot although many parked alongside the road to the path to the beach. The path has lots of roots but as long as you are mindful of that it is a short walk to the beach. Very busy there today but not surprising given hot hot it is out today.
- ★★★★★over 6 years agoAs you drive down to Branch Lake either for camping, swimming, and/or fishing, you can enjoy the landscape all around going through the blueberry fields and the apple orchards, as well as in the fall with the leaves changing colors, plus much more, especially if you enjoy the foggy days as well.
- ★★★★★about 5 years agoEasy, level, wooded trail to the rocky lake shoreline. A loop back takes you out along boardwalks above what is in September a dry marsh. Takes a couple hours at an easy pace.
- ★★★★★over 6 years agoSuper friendly owners. Best lake we've been to for swimming, and kayaking in the bay. Huge lake if you have a boat. Absolutely beautiful. 45 to Bar Harbor. 30 to Bangor. Get groceries before you get there. Closest store is Ellsworth, 20+ in traffic.
- ★★★★★over 4 years agoThis is a new State Park. Clean bathroom, nice walk thru the woods on several paths. Small neach amd picnic tables. Unfortunately this party boat came into the swimming area with several small children were swimming. They allow dogs on a leash. It is carry in and carry out. I will definately go back.
