WOW! We love it here at sunset and sunrise. So quiet, free parking and plenty of it on both sides. There is a cool trail that said do not trespass that I am intrigued by. I would love to walk the lower area shown in the photos. This place has me c in big back frequently just for photos and drone shots. Did you know an old city is rumored to be below the upper reservoir? They literally forced a whole town out when they built this dam. Dayum that’s messed up…see what I did there? Ok that’s corny….but what an amazing place to catch a view.

Such a beautiful spot to photograph. There is no stopping or parking along the road but there are two small parking areas on either side of the dam. The walk to the dam from these parking areas on the main road is safe, as there is a shoulder along the wall to walk in. The reflection on the water is beautiful, esp with fall foliage in the background. Golden hour is amazing.

Beautiful view of this Reservoir. A winter adventure to do in the coldest day but amazing. I've been trying to find this place for a while and made it. Highly recommend this location, awesome for stock images.

Gorgeous sights and beautiful fall foliage that reflects off the surface of the reservoir if you’re there at the right time of the day! Later afternoon is best or very early morning if you want to get some good photographs of the colts in the Litchfield Hills!!!

No parking on the sidewalk but you can park near the roundabout and walk back. It's really nice to take pictures here since the views are beautiful and peaceful. There's no restroom nearby but I believe there's one near the village.
