- ★★★★★over 5 years agoBeautiful lake with sandy beaches and clean widely spaced campgrounds full of trees. We were there mid week and it was very quiet. Would go back. Was a great stop on our way to Custer and allowed us to day trip into Hot Springs where we toured the Mammoth Site.
- ★★★★★over 7 years agoI stayed at a cabin right by the water and absolutely loved it. It is quiet and peaceful and the view was spectacular. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be going back! There is so much to do and see including biking, hiking, swimming, and boating!
- ★★★★★almost 6 years agoThis is one of the best places to go fishing, swimming, or other water sports. In the summer the water is usually warm and nice to swim in. Although if you are looking to get away from people this is not a place to go because if is a very popular place.
- ★★★★★over 6 years agoI just take some photos, it’s pretty. But just need upgrade modern bathroom lol
- ★★★★★over 3 years agoAbsolutely wonderful recreation area. We stayed in Cascade Campground site 58. Lots of shade, level and huge. The bike trail was perfect to go from the Marina all the way to Hat Creek Campground and back. The miles of sandy beach are a delight for swimming or strolling. The surrounding mountains are a beautiful backdrop to the lovely lake. The bathhouses were plenty nice and kept very clean. We enjoyed the individual showers! Wish we had booked 2 weeks instead of 5 days. We travel full time and this park ranks at the top of our list. Awesome stay
