Great place, long drive , bring food and water so you can save some instead of paying overpriced food in near by areas. Worth the drive , make sure you bring spikes for your shoes and warm clothes, can become very cold very quick .

Stunning. Dress accordingly, as you should, given you're in the northwest so you don't complain about the wind and temps. You're between mountains so it's a given it'll be windy. Enjoy the scenery and carry on.

Very nice, went to see the ice bubbles it was a beautiful day. It is normally very windy up there so prepare for that we just got lucky on our most recent trip. Ice was bumpy in some spots but the farther out you go the smoother it gets, great for skating.

Beautiful area, very quiet and serene. Located in the Kootenay Plains area of the Canadian Rockies. Stunning views in both the summer and winter. The lake typically freezes in mid to late December with the ice bubbles at their best from early-January to mid-February.
